Welcome from the Headmaster, Regina George

Are you witnessing the moral decay and the myriad of challenges our children face in today's world? Do you long to take action to fortify your family, ensuring they are firmly rooted in biblical principles and able to cherish more meaningful moments together? Allow me to share a transformative adventure and calling that helped me address some of these very concerns for my own family many years ago.

Nearly twenty-seven years ago, my husband Mitchell and I embarked on one of our most extraordinary life journeys: homeschooling. Back then, I didn't personally know anyone who educated their children at home, but we felt a compelling calling for various reasons Because the Bible is preeminent in our lives, we wholeheartedly embraced the directive found in Deuteronomy 6:5-7 ("Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up."). This passage resonated deeply with us and solidified our decision to homeschool.

At that time, we were young and inexperienced parents, observing older friends whose children, upon entering junior high, encountered struggles with negative peer pressure, rebellion, and other influences that constantly challenged their Christian upbringing. Recognizing the significance of the formative years, we believed it was crucial for our children to receive consistent training at home under our watchful eye, rather than being exposed to an environment where we couldn't guarantee the reinforcement of our faith, values, and conduct. And thus, began our lifelong journey!

Fast forward to August 2023, where we will joyously celebrate 37 years of marriage. We have successfully raised four incredible children, and Glen Rose has been our cherished home for nearly 23 years. Our once-small family of six has now expanded, encompassing spouses and grandchildren, with a headcount set to reach twelve by January 2024!

Homeschooling is not merely an educational approach—it is a lifestyle. To embark upon this path, it is essential to have a clear directive, desire and calling.  There will undoubtedly be numerous challenges to overcome, and you may find yourself questioning your decision at times, wondering, "What on earth was I thinking?"   However, you will also create a lifetime of memories, learn more than you ever knew possible, forge a strong bond with your family, and be challenged spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically. I can confidently assure you you will never look back and say, “I regret those days and time I devoted to my children’s education, spiritual growth, and upbringing.”

As the director of Trinity Faith Academy, I am here to encourage you in your calling and support you in educating your children. Our dedicated team consists of well-trained teachers who, above all else, possess a deep love for the Lord. They view their role as a divine calling, teaching subjects they are passionate about from a Christian perspective. Furthermore, they genuinely care for the children and relish the opportunity to collaborate with parents who desire the best for their family. This dream partnership allows parents to fully embrace their role while teachers provide assistance and hold students accountable within a safe, friendly, and Christian environment. Although I have now become an empty nester officially, I am committed to assisting families in homeschooling with excellence for as long as I have breath in my lungs. Allow us to contribute to making this your most exceptional school year ever and accompany you on your unique homeschooling journey.
